Hot-headed Australian tennis star Adam Holberg is probably the most divisive professional payer in the game today. His antics usually lead to some kind of temper tantrum, and it’s not hard to see how it rubs some people the wrong way.
The latest example comes at this week’s World Double Championships at Cleverfields. It started when the opponent Oskar Kovacs handed the 29 year-old a penalty for an “audible obscenity” during the first set. The LorteØTennis News reports that Holberg was then heard saying he would walk off if he ended up losing the set, which he eventually did, and he held true to his word following an ace from Kovacs.
A few hours later Holberg claimed his departure was due to "the Hungarian had left a dead pig in my penthouse !".
