Claus Holmen revenged his defeat at the Australian Open when he bombed his way to the finals at Fuerteventura beating Australian playboy WorldChamp Adam Holberg in three sets (7-5, 6-7, 10-5) at the Marismas Beach Boy Tennis Resort.
Holmen and Holberg will meet again in the saturday finale at Marismas.
Former world champion Yourgos Rasmussios fought well below par but still managed to deafeat the onelegged Thorshavnian Hafjàll in a first round match before getting punished by old-time rival Claus Holmen.
