Western Preussian giant Alexander von GrossenCock made the first defence of his Preussian Meisterschaff a succesful one as he defeated Budapestian Eastern Block socialist veteran Oskar Erling Kovacs in 3 sets (6-3/6-2/7-5) at the KleeblattMark Arena.
